LYRIC’s programs are open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth and allies 24 years old and younger. Artistic Resistance and immersive program for TGNC, non-binary, and queer youth, ages 18-24. Receive political education training and apply what you’re learning through your own media-centered project.
Opportunity for self-reflection and practice engaging your radical imagination Connect with peers who are also committed to social justice and social change Gain firsthand experience as a cultural worker by developing an original body of work in your preferred artistic medium (small book, zine, painting series, etc.) Co-facilitate a discussion and activity with your peers Build a portfolio of your work through mini exercises Present your original body of work to your peers and the broader community Receive a $1500 educational scholarship upon completion
